Context
The Type Store is an MBTI-themed e-commerce brand focused on translating personality types into wearable design. The company offers a range of apparel, including hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and caps, each designed to reflect the identity and traits of different personality types. Built on Shopify, the store was positioned as a niche, personality-driven brand that combines self-expression with minimal, design-led aesthetics.
What I did
I led the overall design direction of the brand, working across product, web, and marketing touchpoints to create a cohesive and consistent experience.
I designed and developed the Shopify storefront, structuring the site around core e-commerce principles such as clarity, conversion, and ease of navigation. This included layout design, product presentation, and the overall visual system of the site.
Alongside the web experience, I designed the apparel itself, translating MBTI concepts into wearable graphics that balanced personality expression with clean, modern design. Each piece was created to feel distinct while still fitting within a unified brand system.
I also developed the brand identity, including logo and visual language, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. In addition, I designed marketing assets and ad creatives to support customer acquisition, aligning them with the brand’s tone and aesthetic.
